Very tasty - especially the lamb dishes. Very friendly and attentive. Very child-friendly - my daughter loves the "Kinderschnaps" ;-) Pleasant atmosphere.

This is the right place for those who like spicy food. You can chew, chew, chew on the lamb chop ... Quality looks different, especially since it is not the cheapest food on the menu. The rice is too salty, as is the cevapcici. The only thing that is good: the service is very friendly and everything is very clean.

We only went there "out of necessity" because. Our other restaurant had too. We went there without any expectations and without knowing anything about the restaurant and were absolutely thrilled. Excellent food and although only a main course ordered a salad first, then pudding and a marsala in between. The quality fully convinced us and the staff was very courteous and in the end we were amazed at how cheap they are. Very clear recommendation Gyros in metaxa sauce :)

We love the Opatja ... very nice ambience -> inside as well as outside ... you are warmly welcomed and you immediately have the feeling of visiting good friends ... the kitchen is excellent and conjures up real culinary delights on the plate .... there is such a warm and cordial atmosphere here that after dinner you like to stay with a good glass of wine or a cold beer or lemonade ... for me the Opatja is the best restaurant in Varel ... I recommend it 100% ... ❤️

My absolute favorite restaurant. Friendly, courteous service staff. Lovingly, harmoniously decorated. Food always good. The steak is also English on the point. Small changes are made as far as possible for the kitchen. Always worth a visit.

Ordered food for 8 people yesterday. The food was delicious, the portions large. Hardly any waiting time and very nice hostess. We will be back definitely!

A small cozy Joguslavian restaurant in Varel. As you can guess, the card is very meaty. The prices are upscale, but the quality is absolutely fine. We ordered 2 plates for 2 persons each. At the end gave a Marsala and a small panna cotta with raspberry sauce. All in all, the visit was worth it. I would recommend table reservation! It was then quite full. 😊

Delicious food and nice atmosphere. Prices are upscale class but not directly as expensive. Even normal mortals can afford the food here. Nice and friendly service on the part of the staff. Always my pleasure.

We were with 6 people eat here. A very friendly welcome, great ambience and the food was also delicious. One does not wait long for the food, everything is fresh. The service was very friendly and worked fast. Calculated on 6 persons (starters, main courses, drinks) the price is perfectly fine. I can only recommend this restaurant and would like to come back anytime.
